This Wednesday will mark an important date for residents of Downtown Long Beach.  Mayor Foster and City Manager Pat West are speaking to a large gathering of residents about the future of Downtown Long Beach.  Topics to be discussed include retail recruitment, open space and Downtown visioning.

The forum is this Wednesday, March 19th at 6:30pm at the Courtyard Marriott in the East Village.

Foster and West will take questions from the residents of the East Village Association, North Pine Neighborhood Alliance, West End Community Association, Willmore City Heritage Association and the St. Anthony’s Neighborhood Association.

This will likely be one of the largest gathering of Downtown residents in a long time. The Mayor and city staff are going to hear first-hand what the priorities of the residents are for Downtown.

All 5 associations have canceled their March meetings for this forum.

Other groups and organizations in attendance will be the Downtown Long Beach Business Association, the Convention Visitors Bureau, Long Beach Police Department, the City of Long Beach 2030 team and others.

Food and refreshments are being sponsored by the DLBA.
