Metro riders looking to use the Blue Line rail system this weekend will experience interrupted service at select stops as part of continued upgrade efforts, Metro officials recently announced.

Between Friday, October 9 at 9:00PM and Monday, October 11 at 4:30AM, Metro workers will work on replacing a signalling switch between the Vernon and Washington stations.

During that time, riders will be able to use free bus shuttles running between the two stations.

Trains will continue to run from the Vernon Station south to Long Beach and from the Washington Station north to Los Angeles as part of continued regular service.
