UPDATE | A 29-year-old woman who went missing in Long Beach nearly three weeks ago was located, the sheriff’s department announced today.

Celeste Cristine Contreras, of Laughlin, Nevada, was reported missing after being last seen about 1:30 a.m. on March 18 in the 1100 block of Queens Highway, which is near the Queen Mary, according to Deputy Juanita Navarro-Suarez of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

Authorities announced Monday that Contreras had been located, but details about where and when were not released.

Celeste Cristine Contreras, of Laughlin, Nevada, was last seen about 1:30 a.m. on March 18 in the 1100 block of Queens Highway, near Windsor Way, according to Deputy Juanita Navarro-Suarez of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

Contreras is described as Hispanic, 5 feet, 4 inches tall and 148 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, Navarro-Suarez said.

Authorities asked anyone with information about her whereabouts to call Detective Morris with the sheriff department’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500. Those wishing to report anonymously can call 800-222-TIPS.
