Long Beach police are asking for help finding a 72-year-old man who sometimes becomes disoriented and needs medication.

James Carson was last seen by his caregiver around 3:30 a.m. today at their home near 15th Street and Atlantic Avenue, according to the LBPD. At the police department’s request, the CHP sent out a Silver Alert asking for help finding Carson.

Police said Carson is Black, about 5-foot-8, 140 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a burgundy T-shirt, gray pants and slippers.
