The Long Beach Police Department will hold a fundraiser this weekend in just about the most fun way possible, with a motorcycle ride beginning in Anaheim and ending at Long Beach’s own Gaslamp restaurant on PCH. The fourth annual 9-9-9 Benefit Ride will be held from 10:00am-3:00pm this Saturday, and will benefit the families of fallen officers from both the Long Beach and Oakland Police Departments.
Riders will meet at Lifestyle Cycles at 1534 N. State College Boulevard in Anaheim around 10:00am, and will leave at 11:00am for an escorted ride to Gaslamp at 6251 E. PCH. A free breakfast will be provided in Anaheim and lunch will be held from 1:00pm-3:00pm at Gaslamp, which will also feature music and opportunities for great prizes (namely, a 2007 Harley Davidson with custom West Coast Choppers paint!).
Riders can register on-site between 9:00am-10:30am. The cost is $35 per rider and $10 per passenger. Happy riding!
