7:45am | Last Thursday, February 9th, at approximately 12:30am, Long Beach Police located and arrested a suspect who was on felony probation and had three narcotics-related no-bail warrants for his arrest.

Officers from the South Patrol Division’s Directed Enforcement Team (DET) learned that the outstanding suspect, identified as 27-year-old Justin Rock of Long Beach, was staying at a motel in the area of Pacific Coast Highway and Termino Avenue. They responded to the location, observed suspect Rock travelling in a vehicle in the area, and made a traffic stop resulting in his arrest for the no-bail warrants. A subsequent search of the vehicle and motel room turned up stolen items, which included a variety of electronics, passports, and drivers licenses, from several residential, commercial, and auto burglaries in Long Beach, and other possible burglaries outside the city.

Detectives believe that Rock may also be responsible for additional burglaries throughout the city; the investigation remains ongoing.

Yesterday, Long Beach Police burglary detectives presented the case to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office who filed three (3) counts of residential burglary, three (3) counts of possession of stolen items, and one (1) count of possession of narcotics for sale against Rock. Rock was arraigned in Los Angeles Superior Court later that afternoon and is expected to appear in court again later this month.
