If there is one thing that connects everyone at the Long Beach Post, it is the fact that we love our city. For us, we are shameless in talking about the good things, be they people, places, or projects—and probably even more shameless about wanting and including our readers’ input.
We cherish the communal nature of what we do and now, we are back to ask you about not just what is good, but what is the best.
Beginning Monday, February 25, we will launch nominations for the Best of Long Beach 2013 with five categories spread throughout the week. Following thousands of nominations last year, we are soliciting you to yet again scour this awesome city for what makes your stomach happiest, your creative gears churn fastest, your muscles burn the most, your face smile the widest, and your wallet the most empty by choice (consumer catharsis is not always a bad thing).
This year’s categories include: Food & Drink, Arts & Entertainment, Sports & Recreation, People & Places, and Shopping & Services.
