The Long Beach Nonprofit Partnership will host a full day conference at The Pointe in the CSULB Pyramid called “GenNext: Generation Shift and Your Organization” today from 8:00am to 3:00pm.  The group encourages nonprofit directors, staff and volunteers as well as for-profit employees to attend.

The opening session will be delivered by Mick Ukleja, Ph.D., President of Leadership TraQ, and Chip Espinosa, Executive VP of Leadership TraQ.  Ukleja will discuss and sign his new book, which will be available to all participants for free, after his session about transforming organizations through leadership.  The rest of the day will feature several dynamic sessions for improving leadership skills.

Registration is $95 for members and $115 for “not-yet members” if registered before June 2nd.  After June 2nd, registration is $115 for members, $135 for “not-yet members”. Additional registrants from the same nonprofit may register at $80 per person.  There is a “lunch only” option at $50 that includes a copy of Dr. Ukleja’s book.  A limited number of discounted registrations are available to full-time students.  A continental-style breakfast; lunch and afternoon reception are included in the fee. Campus parking will be available at no charge.
