A person was killed this morning when a vehicle overturned down an embankment at the 91 Freeway in Cerritos, authorities said.
The crash occurred at 2:30 a.m. on the freeway transition road connecting the eastbound 91 Freeway to the southbound 605 Freeway, the California Highway Patrol reported.
A representative from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office was called to the scene at 3:07 a.m.
There was no other information immediately available.
