Overnight attic fire displaces El Dorado Park Estates resident

Firefighters extinguished an attic fire at an El Dorado Park Estates home overnight that displaced one resident, authorities said.

The blaze broke out around 1:26 a.m. in a single-family dwelling on the 3100 block of Claremore Avenue, said Capt. Matt Dobberpuhl.

No one was injured but Red Cross was requested to assist the resident, he said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. There is not damage estimate at this time.
