No one was injured when a big-rig truck overturned Tuesday morning while getting onto an on-ramp to the 710 Freeway at Pico Avenue near the Port of Long Beach.

The crash caused a backup of other trucks trying to get onto the freeway shortly before 10:50 a.m. A fire department spokesman said fire units cleared the scene after finding that no one was injured and nothing was leaking from the truck.

A police department spokeswoman said the area is now clear.
