One person was hospitalized Wednesday morning following a car crash in Long Beach’s Wrigley neighborhood, police said.

It wasn’t immediately clear what caused the crash, but police said it happened around 10:28 a.m. at the intersection of Pacific Avenue and Willow Street.

There, officers located two vehicles that were involved in the collision, one of which had overturned.

Officers provided aid to the people in the vehicles until Long Beach Fire Department personnel arrived and transported one person to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The westbound lanes at Willow Street between Pacific and Earl avenues were closed for a short while Wednesday morning as police investigated the crash.
