Hey, you with the digicam. Want to win some prize money?
All you have to do is take pictures of anything in Long Beach, and submit ten of your favorites to the Say Cheese Long Beach digital photo contest. Photographers of all ages and levels are encouraged to participate in the contest, organized by Justin Rudd and his Community Action Team (CAT). All photos must be taken in Long Beach city limits between December 1-28, and submitted to [email protected] by CD or e-mail. The deadline is 8:00pm, December 28.
The Grand Prize winner will walk away with $250 and top-notch bragging rights.
Judges are looking for holiday themed pictures, and the best will be selected to appear in a photobook that organizers hope to be able to put together. Photos must be in color and unaltered. Images must be either jpeg or tiff files, at least 2048×1536 pixels.
An exhibition will also be created to display the top 200 images. Exhibition date, time and location have not yet been announced. More information can be found by clicking here.
Happy photo-ing!
