An 80-year-old man with medical conditions who went missing Thursday morning was found dead in his vehicle Thursday afternoon, according to authorities, though foul play is not suspected.

Abraham Theophilus was found in his vehicle by Los Angeles Police Department officers around 4 p.m. in Crenshaw. A missing person alert was issued earlier Thursday, when police said he was  last seen at around 5:30 a.m. near his home in the 3400 block of Linden Avenue.

Theophilus had suffered from medical conditions and may easily become disoriented, authorities said.

Police said earlier they believed Theophilus was using his 2010 silver Hyundai to get around, although his destination was unknown.

The Los Angeles County coroner’s office is investigating his cause of death.
