UPDATE | Long Beach Police say Angel Miguel Otero, who went missing after leaving a North Long Beach care facility, was found Wednesday, April 14, in Los Angeles and has been transported back to his care facility.

The Long Beach Police Department is asking for the public’s help finding a 41-year-old missing man who was last seen leaving a North Long Beach care facility in the 300 block of East Home Street.

Angel Miguel Otero was at the care facility for less than 24 hours before he left on foot and headed in an unknown direction, police said.

Otero is gravely disabled, suffers from medical conditions and may become easily disoriented, according to the LBPD. He most recently lived in Artesia and is not familiar with the Long Beach area, police said. 

He is described as Hispanic, 5-foot-10 and 220 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
