Police search for missing woman last seen near Community Hospital

The Long Beach Police Department is asking the public for help in locating a 57-year-old woman who went missing Wednesday morning near Long Beach Community Hospital near the Traffic Circle.

Police said that Mary Margaret Robinson was last seen around 11:35 a.m. Wednesday morning traveling in an unknown direction in a wheelchair near the 1700 block of Termino Avenue after an appointment at the hospital. Robinson suffers from a medical condition that requires her to take medication that if not taken can make her disoriented, police said.

Robinson is 5-foot-7-inches tall and weighs approximately 140 pounds. She has blonde hair and hazel eyes and was last seen wearing a pink jacket, blue pants and gray shoes.

Anyone with information regarding this missing person is urged to call the L.B.P.D. Missing Persons Detail at 562-570-7246 or Police Dispatch at 562-435-6711 or or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS (8477).
