UPDATED  |  7:45PM  |  The Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) has issued an updated alert, stating only that the missing boys have been found, and that “[a]pparently, both boys had spent the night at another friend’s house.”

ORIGINAL  |  6:29PM  |  The Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) has issued an alert asking for the public’s assistance in locating two missing boys, ages 11 and 12. The pair was last seen in the area of Lime Avenue and 1st Street last night at approximately 6:00pm.

The parents of each boy believed their child was spending the night at the home of the other child. When neither boy returned home today, the parents contacted the LBPD.

Marquez Wright is 12 years old, 4′ 11″, African-American, with brown eyes and hair, and weighs 90 pounds. Aidan Trevino is 11 years old, 4′ 11″, Hispanic, with brown eyes and hair, and weighs 115 pounds.

LBPD officers continue to search for the missing pair, and have been in contact with the boys’ friends in hope of gaining information as to their whereabouts.

Area hospitals, law enforcement, fire stations, and public transportation agencies have been notified and put on alert.
