Finally, it is the day that all of those television ads and inflammatory mailers have been waiting for: Election Day 2012. Polls in Long Beach opened at 7AM today and will be taking voters until 8PM.

Not sure where to vote? Confused on what will be on your specific ballot? Do you remember if you’re even registered?

The Los Angeles County Registrar has set up a few websites to help citizens figure out where to go today to have their vote counted. Unfortunately, this comprehensive system relies on a street address in every instance and therefore does not help people who forgot where they last registered to vote. But, in that case, it might be worth using the registration-verification database to guess and check the last few addressess in the hopes that one shows a registration.

A list of all the districts that include your address (along with a precinct map) are also available through the following links:

Want to know who is running in your districts and which referendums are on the ballot? Google has put together a great election-specific search engine that will produce your ballot summary based on any address you provide.
