The Press-Telegram reported today that the Long Beach Redevelopment Agency (RDA) voted on Monday to promote Amy Bodek as acting director of the organization, in replace of former director Craig Beck after he was reassigned to Oil & Gas following allegations of accepting a discounted hotel stay from a company looking to do business in Long Beach.

From P-T reporter Karen Robes Meeks:

A city employee since 1992, Bodek has a background in design, urban planning, redevelopment and real estate transactions, and is a certified planner with the American Institute of Certified Planners. Bodek currently manages the agency’s staff and budget.

Administrative Officer Lisa Fall was also appointed as assistant executive director.
