The summer-like temperatures of last weekend will give way this week to conditions more typical of January: Rain is forecast for four days beginning Thursday, and we’ll again see low temperatures in the 40s.

The National Weather Service says there is a 50 percent chance of rain on Thursday, with a high of 62 degrees (Tuesday and Wednesday will grow progressively cooler, with partly cloudy skies and highs of 69 degrees and 66 degrees, respectively).

The sun is expected to peek out by Friday, but the rain will return that night, according to the NWS forecast. The high is expected to be 62, with a low of 51 degrees.

A chance of rain is expected both Saturday and Sunday, with a high around 60 degrees and a low of 49.
