3:00pm | Police apprehended a robbery suspect who apparently fled from a Best Buy store on Pacific Coast Highway by leaping into the marina and swimming for freedom on Thursday. It didn’t work.
The suspect hid under a dock. Unfortunately for him, authorities unleashed a Police dog who quickly found the man and brought him out to waiting handcuffs.
The Press-Telegram is reporting that two other suspects were involved and quickly apprehended on commercial robbery charges. The amphibious criminal was arrested on a dock and former Long Beach City Councilman Rob Webb was nearby to snap a few photos of the suspect.
