Over 300 friends joined Rosie the Bulldog as she celebrated her 10th Birthday with free food and drinks at On the Mark restaurant next to the Colorado Lagoon. The party was also a fundraiser for Justin Rudd’s nonprofit Community Action Team.
Rosie was honored with a special “leash to the city” by Long Beach First Lady Nancy Foster.
Some of CAT’s successful annual events include the Haute Dog Easter and Howl’oweeen Parades, the Bulldog Beauty Contest, the Interfaith Blessing of the Animals, monthly 30-Minute Beach Cleanups, spelling bees for kids and adults, Operation Easter Basket and Operation Santa Paws.
Justin and Rosie are being honored this year as the Grand Marshalls of the Belmont Shore Christmas Parade.
