As the last few days in August begin to dwindle away, you’ve got one last chance to cling to Summer.  Couldn’t make that trip out to HawaiI this year?  Not to worry, the islands have come to visit you!

The Long Beach Convention Center’s Terrace Theater will host the 14th annual E Hula Mau celebration this weekend, running from noon today until late into Sunday night.  Things get kicked off with Opening Ceremonies at 3:30pm Friday, with traditional Hawaiian music closing out the night at the Westin Long Beach, the event host hotel.  Click here for a full schedule listing.

The rest of the weekend will feature all types of traditional music, as well as arts and crafts, group presentations and awards.  The Aquarium of the Pacific will bring their Aquarium on Wheels in for a visit with sharks, stingrays and other marine inhabitants.

For everything from traditional storytelling to group jam sessions, celebrate the Hawaiian spirit at E Hula Mau this year.  Click here for more information, or here to buy tickets.
