A public hearing to discuss and receive comments on the Schuyler Heim Bridge Replacement and the Terminal Island Freeway (SR-47) Expressway Project will be held this Tuesday, September 25, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

 

The meeting will be hosted by CalTrans and the Alameda Corridor Transportation Authority (ACTA), at the Banning’s Landing Community Center, located at 100 East Water Street (at Avalon Boulevard) in Wilmington.

 

This hearing allows the public an opportunity to address the staff with any information or potential impacts of the project prior to selecting the final alternative. The six alternatives are:

 

1) Bridge Replacement and SR-47 Expressway

2) Bridge Replacement and SR-103 Extension to Alameda Street

3) Bridge Demolition Avoidance

4) Bridge Replacement Only

5) Transportation Systems Management

6) No Build.

 

The public comment period continues until Tuesday, October 16, 2007.
