Long Beach Airport was temporary diverting air traffic to a secondary runway today after a small airplane made an emergency landing.

An airport spokesperson said emergency responders rushed to the tarmac around 8:30 a.m. after a twin-engine Diamond Twin Star was forced to land with its landing gear still up. Nobody was injured, and the airport as of around 10 a.m. was waiting for clearance to remove the damaged plane.

The airport was temporarily diverting air traffic to a secondary runway but was expected to resume normal operations soon.
