St. Anthony’s is a Catholic high school founded in 1920 with a historic presence in Long Beach. The current enrollment is 440 students and enrollment is on track to reach 520 students next Fall. Only 150 freshmen students will be accepted, so early application is recommended.
St. Anthony is a wireless campus with an infrastructure that is technologically advanced as the school anticipates the launch of its “iPads For All” Program next Fall. This program provides an iPad for every student and teacher to enhance the entire learning experience and prepare students for college. Interactive whiteboards are installed in every classroom and the school offers a wide array of Advanced Placement and Honors classes along with innovative programs such as the Marine Science Academy. Sports are competitive yet accessible and there are many opportunities for leadership development through programs such as President’s Ambassadors, Rotary Interact Club, Campus Ministry and student government. 100% of St. Anthony’s graduates have gone on to attend college for the past two years. Financial aid is available.
Interested applicants are encouraged to attend the Open House or contact the Registrar Beatriz McGuiness at 562-435-4496, Ext. 1214 for more information.
