Tickets have been sold out for nearly two weeks for tonight’s State of the City address by Mayor Bob Foster, the first that is free and open to the public to attend.  Mayor Foster will deliver his speech at the Carpenter Center on the campus of Cal State Long Beach, beginning at 6:00pm tonight.

“Public engagement is critical to a healthy and vibrant government and maybe even more so during these challenging times,” said Mayor Foster in a release several weeks ago.  “The State of the City is an important part of the civic process and I’m delighted to give this speech at Cal State Long Beach, the flagship of a public education system founded on accessibility.”
