Displaced By Chuck E. Cheese’s Construction, City Place Restaurants Play Waiting Game

The construction of a new Chuck E. Cheese’s at City Place forced three restaurants–Fresh Kabobs, Milana’s New York Pizzeria and Mitaki Restaurant–to move across the street. But their new locations aren’t ready as promised and the business owners worry about customer retention while they are closed.

Facing Mounting Debt, Long Beach Vegan Eatery to Close This Week

The well has run dry. The money tree is barren. Whatever euphemism you prefer, the Long Beach Vegan Eatery will be cashing in its cruelty-free chips August 1, pulling the plug on one of the city’s four dedicated vegetarian or vegan restaurants.
