The crash occurred around 9 p.m. while the woman was in the roadway on Lakewood Boulevard near Cedar Street.
They were rushed to the hospital after the crash, which happened around 9:50 Halloween night as they walked with a stroller at Los Cerritos Park.
The man was riding in a 2019 Infiniti Q50S when the sedan’s driver lost control on the stretch of Shoreline Drive that leads to the northbound 710 Freeway, police said.
