The incident started shortly before 4:30 p.m. Sunday when the motorcyclist had been speeding eastbound on the 91 Freeway, CHP spokesman Marcos Iniguez said.
A man died Saturday, two days after the driver of a car he was riding in crashed into parked vehicles in Long Beach Saturday, according to police. Authorities believe the driver was under the influence of alcohol.
An initial investigation into the crash revealed that the motorcyclist was traveling westbound on Pacific Coast Highway when the diver in the Porsche pulled out from a parking lot in front of the motorcyclist.
