Mayor Robert Garcia announced his request for the Long Beach City Council to guide the city manager in formally updating the Long Beach “River Link” plan to include more recent developments, such as the LA River Revitalization Corporation’s partnership with Frank Gehry and his associates, with the goal of exploring a comprehensive vision for the entire 51 miles of the river.
