The public is invited to attend the second “Unicorn Bike” unveiling at 1:00PM this Saturday at Primal Alchemy. This second debut of the program is one of the city’s Bike Month celebrations to take place throughout May, it was announced.

The Unicorn Bike Program, a partnership between CycleHop, the city’s bike share program operator, and Lola’s Mexican Cuisine, was introduced with the unveiling of a specially branded Long Beach Bike Share bike.

The first two of 10 Long Beach Bike Share stations to be erected by Saturday, March 19 and its 100 bicycles were officially installed in the downtown area Thursday, with an unveiling this morning at the Promenade and 3rd Street, where several Long Beach dignitaries and active transportation advocates each took a few moments to commemorate the occasion.

The City of Long Beach will unveil its Bike Share Program, Long Beach Bike Share, to the public on Thursday morning.
