The 2nd Annual Taste of the Coast, benefitting Children Today and Long Beach Day Nursery, will be held on Sunday, August 2 from 3 to 7pm at Belmont Veteran’s Memorial Pier.
Organized by Long Beach Kids Connection, Taste of the Coast is a Sunday afternoon family event that includes over 40 restaurants, a Beer and Wine Garden, activities for kids, and live music in beautiful Belmont Shore. Taste of the Coast will include fun for the whole family during this Sea Festival event.
Four bands including King Salmon Band, Lil’ Albert & The Blue Stars, Alan Glasband and Golden Sands Chorus will perform during the afternoon. Activities for kids include a Fire Boat Show, balloon art and face painting.
Also included this year is a major Raffle Prize – Airfare and 7 Nights for Two at the Manhattan Club in New York City, along with four tickets to four Broadway shows. Raffle tickets cost $10 each or $25 for a group of three.
Tickets for Taste of the Coast can be purchased online at lbkidsconnection.org, or by calling 562-233-4338. Admission for adults is $50, teens is $20, Kids 12 and under is $10. Tables for ten, including two bottles of wine and free parking, are available for $600.
