12:00pm | Four males were injured in two separate shootings over the weekend in Long Beach, as police are asking for anyone who may have information to come forward.
Three boys were injured and transported to local hospitals after gunfire erupted near Magnolia and 7th Street around 9:52pm Sunday night. A 12-year old resident of Hawaiian Gardens remains in critical condition after being struck while attending a family barbeque. At the nearby intersection of Daisy and 8th Street, two 15-year old boys were discovered to have also been shot in the upper body as they rode their bicycles. They are listed in stable condition.
Authorities believe the shooting was gang related. Anyone with information is asked to call Homicide Detectives Daniel Mendoza or Malcolm Evans at 562 570-7244.
Also, a male was shot around 8:41pm Sunday night at Pine and Plymouth Street. His condition is currently unknown and he was transported to a local hospital.
