11:30am Thursday | Police are searching for a black man between the ages of 16-22 that they believe is responsible for at least seven sexual assaults since July 15 of this year. All of the incidents occurred in apartment complexes near Paramount & South Street.

The suspect is between 5-foot-3 and 5-foot-5, about 140-160 pounds, with shaved or short hair and medium to dark skin. Often wearing basketball or gym shorts, witnesses say he walks with a limp and may be pigeon toed. Police say that the suspect approaches young females from behind and gropes them, and a Long Beach Police Department press release also leaves us with this image:

“After the attacks the suspect has fled on foot, but not before thanking the victims.”

Ok.

Authorities advise anyone who encounters the suspect to call 9-1-1, or report any suspicious activity to the Long Beach Police Dispatch Center at 562.435.6711. If you have any information regarding the suspect’s identity, call the Sex Crimes Tip Line at 562.570.7878.
