FOX Business Network news anchor Brian Sullivan is broadcasting live with updates throughout the day from the Port of Long Beach, an FBN spokeswoman just confirmed.

Several of the live segments have already aired, and web links to those segments will be posted shortly.

11:57am | FOX Business Network news anchor Brian Sullivan will broadcast live from the Port of Long Beach today, an FBN spokeswoman said.

Sullivan will talk with prominent business leaders about the sizable increase in cargo being imported and exported through the Port of Long Beach over the past year, as well as how this relates to consumer demand, trade and jobs.

The spokeswoman said that during the live broadcast, Sullivan will speak with Richard Steinke, executive director of the Port of Long Beach, about the 25 percent increase in port traffic and what that means for the local job market.

Sullivan will also interview Carolyn Martin, assistant vice president of the International Transportation Service Inc., and Robert Curry Sr., president of California Cartage Company Inc., a warehousing and freight-handling company.

FBN is on Channel 129 for Charter Communications customers, Channel 211 for AT&T U-verse TV customers, Channel 206 for DISH Los Angeles customers and Channel 359 for DIRECTV Los Angeles customers.
