2:34pm | The Aquarium of the Pacific announced Thursday that it has acquired two new baby Arctic foxes, which can be viewed in the facility’s Molina Animal Care Center.
The baby brother foxes are part of the aquarium’s new Arctic & Antarctic: Our Polar Regions in Peril exhibition.
“Watching the antics of the tiny pups is endearing,” said senior mammal biologist Michele Sousa in a statement. “We hope these adorable animals win the hearts of our visitors, and inspire them to get involved in reducing the impact of climate change on their Arctic homes.”
The exhibit allows visitors to see arctic animals up close as well as provides information on what can be done to protect their endangered habitats.
The foxes were born at a facility in the Midwest, a spokeswoman said.
