A vigil is scheduled for tonight in the wake of a mass shooting that killed three people and wounded nine others in Long Beach’s Rose Park neighborhood.
Long Beach Councilwoman Jeannine Pearce is hosting the vigil at St. Matthew Catholic Church, which is less than a block from the Tuesday night shooting where a gunman or gunmen opened fire on a crowd at a Halloween party.
“Our hearts go to each individual present and their families,” Pearce said in a Facebook post.
The vigil starts at 6 p.m. St. Matthew’s is at 672 Temple Ave.
Pearce also urged anyone with video footage of or information about the incident to contact police, who are still searching for the suspect or suspects.
Anyone who wants more information about the vigil can call Pearce’s office at 562-570-2222 or email [email protected]
