9:36am | In 2010 We Love Long Beach flipped free pancakes across the city in an effort to learn from and connect with neighbors in Wrigley, Los Altos, Downtown, North Long Beach and Belmont Shore. This year starts with a special opportunity to honor the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. and celebrate the community of Central Long Beach.
For years now, 6th District Councilman Dee Adrews has been an agent of peace and a voice for unity in his district. With support from the City of Long Beach DHHS Weed and Seed Program, Central Neighborhood Advisory Committee, South Wrigley Neighborhood Advisory Group and the Peace Garden Committee, We Love Love Beach becomes another proud partner in Councilman’s ongoing effort.
Please join us:
Saturday, January 8, 2011
9:30AM – 11:30AM
At MLK Park (1133 Rhea Street)
This Saturday, we invite you to try something new. Eat breakfast with a couple hundred of your neighbors and come with the expectation that you have something to give and something to learn from the people you will meet.
