10:23am | The Whole Foods store in Long Beach will celebrate its fresh, new look with an array of festivities on Saturday, including a “Ceremonial Bread Breaking,” a spokeswoman said.
The community is invited to visit the recently remodeled store during the grand re-opening celebration between the hours of 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday, June 25.
Additional offerings at the celebration will include music, art, food , interactive booths, games, cake, raffle prizes and more.
The Ceremonial Bread Breaking is scheduled for 11 a.m., with pilates demonstration at 11:30 a.m. Live music will be available from noon to 2 p.m., followed by the cutting of the cake. Spokeswoman Adrienne Peters added that there will also be a sea character photo booth and “samples galore.”
The store is located at 6550 E. Pacific Coast Highway. Parking is available in the Marina parking lot on Marina Drive.
