Woman Stabbed in Alamitos Beach Domestic Dispute

A man wounded a woman in a stabbing at an Alamitos Beach apartment late Sunday night, closing off portions of 2nd St. near Alamitos Ave. until after midnight.

Neighbors in the 900 block of E. 2nd St. said that a tall white man with long hair fled the apartment at around 11:45PM, not long after screams were heard.

“We believe it’s domestic violence,” said Long Beach police Sgt. David Marander.

Paramedics transported the woman to the hospital and a search was conducted for the suspect, however no information about his status was available this morning.
