Last week, we asked a simple question: what are the best ways to give back during the holiday season?

We received 17 responses via commentors on the article as well as one of our Twitter friends, all of whom contributed their suggestions to the list below. We’ve taken each response and condensed them into the name of the benefiting organization along with at least one bit of contact information.

Have you been looking for a way to get involved and give back to your community? Here’s your chance.

Of course, feel free to leave more suggestions and we’ll add them to the list. Happy holidays from the lbpost.com!

“The LBS Financial Credit Union employees (over 200) all donated toys, blankets and books to the preschool children at the five Comprehensive Child Development centers. Local high school girls pitched in and became “wrap artists” to get these toys wrapped and tagged for delivery to the young children of low-income working parents who definitely struggle all year, not just now.”
