Thunderstorms, showers expected this weekend

A 20% chance of thunderstorms is forecasted in Long Beach on Saturday afternoon, growing to a 30% chance Saturday night and a 40% chance Sunday, mostly before 11 a.m, according to the NWS.

Buvons Wine Bar + Shop, within the Zaferia District, has only seen an uptick in foot traffic in their store and around the neighborhood in recent months. Now, the women behind the French bar are opening a cafe and event space next door.
