The LGBTQ Center of Long Beach (The Center) is hosting a series of community conversations this month, geared toward garnering feedback on how to best utilize resources, in a way that maximizes community impact. The first conversation will commence Friday, December 16 at 7:00PM at The Center, focusing on the transgender and gender non-conforming community, followed by three more.
The number of Americans who smoke cigarettes has been in a precipitous free-fall from several decades ago, when nearly half the country’s population was lighting up. However, despite the downward trajectory of American smokers, the tobacco industry still has an outsized impact on one demographic, the LGBT community.
