A tradition for the sweet-toothed in the community since 1983, customers at Creative Cakery are greeted by the fresh baked aroma of cinnamon and vanilla as they pursue the various delectables. The bakery specializes in bundts — a distinct, frosting-covered ring-shaped desert that the business owners like to festoon with a bouquet of ribbons or other customizable decorations.
“We’re out to produce the most flavorful bundt cake experience you’ve ever had,” say owners Juliet Marshall and Haydee Sentianin, who both grew up in Long Beach loving Creative Cakery before they eventually purchased the business.
“We hold close to our hearts the opportunity to uphold what has become a friends and family tradition for so many more generations to come,” they said. “It’s truly been a community bundt cake shop for almost 40 years.”
The women say they love how much the community embraces the business and continues to support it year after year.
“People tell us all the time, ‘We’ve been getting your cakes for generations,’ and it never ceases to amaze us,” Marshall and Sentianin say. “Having been part of the Long Beach community for this long is very special.”
The bundt cakes are made fresh daily, with seven main cake flavors, plus seasonal varieties — such as November’s Salted Caramel Pumpkin Spice — that come topped with Creative Cakery’s signature cream cheese frosting.
