Latest Breast Cancer Treatment Options

Intra-Operative Radiation Therapy (IORT) also is used for early stage breast cancer treatment, IORT is a low energy therapeutic X-ray system that delivers a concentrated dose of radiation therapy in the operating room to a tumor immediately after a lumpectomy is performed – all in one surgery.
