There’s a quote that stuck with us this week: “I would really like it if somebody took an interest in my art.”

That was Cabrillo High School sophomore Marina Olivas, one of the Westside students being featured in Cabrillo’s second-ever Night of the Arts. It’s a passion project by teachers who say their art students haven’t gotten the attention they deserve.

If you want to help change that, you can show up to Cabrillo High School between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. on this evening (May 28) to see their work.

Look for Marina. She plans to be standing next to her small gallery, hoping to answer questions.
