One very lucky 7-Eleven patron in Long Beach was sold a winning Powerball ticket, the California Lottery announced on Saturday.
The California Lottery tweeted that three tickets in California matched five of six numbers without the Powerball number, and were sold in Long Beach and Bay Area cities Capitola and Sunnyvale.

The ticket in Long Beach was sold at the 7-Eleven at 1100 Redondo Avenue in Belmont Heights, while the person who won the jackpot (all five numbers and the Powerball number) purchased their winning ticket, worth $478 million, in New Hampshire.
The three ticket holders without the winning Powerball number will still receive an enviable sum of $785,065 before federal taxes, splitting the 5/5 California prize of $2,355,195 three ways, according to California Lottery officials.
The odds of winning the five numbers and not the Powerball number is one in 11.6 million, while the overall odds of winning are one in 24.87, according to the website.
In case you happened to be the lucky ticket holder, the winning numbers were 11, 17, 21, 23, 32 minus the Powerball number 5. Players have 180 days from Saturday’s draw to claim their prize.
Powerball is played in 44 states, and additionally in the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
