Connect with fellow Long Beach community members in celebration of Thanksgiving and our collective culture’s deeply rooted love of storytelling at Tellabration, presented by Long Beach Storytellers.

On November 22, the Saturday before Thanksgiving, the El Dorado Nature Center will host for the fourteenth time an event honoring our oral tradition of sharing and expression. From 7:30PM to 9:30PM, families can attend with children ages 12 and up to be captivated by tales of fact and fable, truth and fiction.

This worldwide celebration of sharing, brought to you by our wonderful El Dorado niche, will bring together local storytellers to enchant listeners of all ages with each of their unique performance styles. From the re-telling of well-known folktales to the expression of the most unique and original stories, this year’s Tellabration will make for an enthralling event of inspiration and idea-sharing.

Ages 12 and up. Cost is $5 donation per person. Free parking. Register by calling (562) 570-1745. The El Dorado Nature Center is located at 7550 E Spring St.
