8:30am | Yearly, the organization that creates the Long Beach Lesbian & Gay Pride, in partnership with several locally owned businesses, begins collecting toys for needy children throughout Long Beach. This year’s Holiday Toy Drive will continue through the week of December 13 at some 15 locations throughout the city.
This year, Santa will be disseminating the collected toys on December 18th. Bring your kids down to 1017 Obispo Avenue, from 1:00pm-5:00pm to meet Santa, have a snack, and get a toy.
Over the last twenty years we have donated toys to local charities such as Catholic Charities, California Families in Focus, Substance Abuse Foundation & Children Today. To find a local business that is a toy drop-off location, please call (562) 987-9191.
