9:50am | A soiree was held Friday night at District Wine to celebrate the 82nd anniversary of the Lafayette Building in the East Village.
Attending the festivities were Long Beach Vice-Mayor Suja Lowenthal who presented a City proclamation to Lafayette board president Kavita Rodrigues. Also on hand was Bob Shilling whose father was chief architect of the iconic East Village landmark.
Mark Dunton, owner of District Wine along with his wife Angela, which is located inside the Lafayette building hosted the party.
